How to play Sudoku
The classic number puzzle. Every puzzle here has exactly one answer and can be solved by logic, with no guessing needed on Beginner to Medium.
The rules
- Fill every empty cell with a number from 1 to 9.
- Each row and each column must contain 1 to 9 once.
- Each of the nine 3×3 boxes must also contain 1 to 9 once.

Playing on LogicBright
Tap an empty cell, then tap a number on the number pad (or type it). The row, column and box of the selected cell are lightly shaded to help you check.
Not sure yet? Turn on Notes to write small pencil marks. Turn Notes off to enter a real answer.
Use Check at any time to see mistakes, or Hint for a gentle nudge in three steps: where to look, why, and finally the answer for one cell.
Tips
- Start with the rows, columns and boxes that are nearly full.
- Scan one number at a time across all nine boxes.
- On harder levels, use Notes in every empty cell before looking for pairs.
