Find cages whose totals can only be made one way (like 3 = 1+2) and use Notes to write the options.
Use the rule of 45: each row, column and box adds up to 45.
Single-cell cages simply tell you the number.
Tips
- Learn the unique combinations for 2- and 3-cell cages.
- Use the rule of 45 on boxes that are almost fully covered by cages.
- Keep Notes up to date: cages narrow options fast.
